How to Download Netflix Movies Using Movavi Screen Recorder

Monday, November 20, 2017

Have you ever wanted to ‘download’ one of the Netflix movies that you would like to watch – so that you could watch it offline or on another device that doesn’t have Netflix installed? Unfortunately that isn’t really a possibility, and while Netflix does allow you to ‘save’ some videos nowadays it has many limitations and you can only watch it on devices with Netflix.

The only real way to download Netflix movies and be able to watch them on any device or platform is if you use Movavi Screen Recorder. Technically you won’t actually be ‘downloading’ the movie at all though, but recording it from your screen then saving it afterwards.

Don’t worry if that sounds complicated, as it is actually far from it. At first it may take some getting used to, but the intuitive nature of Movavi Screen Recorder will let you quickly set up the recording and get started.

Essentially what you need to do is set up Movavi Screen Recorder to capture the area of your screen where the Netflix video is going to be playing. Assuming the Netflix video is loaded, you can launch the recorder and draw a frame over it using your mouse cursor – or click anywhere then select your monitor name in the list under the ‘Capture Area’ section of the interface if you would like to record the movie in full screen.

The only other setting that you should check is the audio source that should be set to record the system audio. On Movavi Screen Recorder’s interface you’ll see a ‘System Audio’ icon that you can click to toggle and enable or disable the recording. Similarly there will be a ‘Microphone’ icon that should be disabled so that it doesn’t interfere.

While you could adjust the frame rate, sound levels, and other recording parameters, there is no real need to do so. That being said you may want to click on the ‘alarm clock’ icon if you would like to get Movavi Screen Recorder to automatically stop recording after a certain duration so that you don’t need to manually do so.

Regardless, when you’re ready you can click ‘REC’ and play the Netflix movie within the next 3 seconds. After you stop recording you can go over the movie and check that it is satisfactory, then save it onto your hard drive so that you can watch it as and when you please.

That being said you shouldn’t really have any issues, as it really is quite straightforward once you try to set it all up.
