Strategy Game of the Week - Armada Commander: RTS Space Battles

Few days ago Armada Commander was featured on Intellectuapp. Since we absolubetly loved it and because it really has a lot to offer to real strategy gaming fans, we decided to give it another appraisal, this time as our Strategy Game of the Week. Read more why!

What it is? 
Armada Commander is an android strategy game which is a fusion of space strategy with elements of tower defense. You as a player need to deploy & command your Emperial fleet to engage with enemies in epic space battles for the liberation of Omegus Galaxy (galaxy which is occupied by wave of alien spaceships)! It’s indeed a compelling science fiction universe for the player to get lost in.

Detailed features

The game starts with short introduction and tutorial of the features. As we already mentioned, you are the commander of the fleet and you need to beat the constant waves of alien spaceships. To do so, you are in control of assault ships, battleships, destroyers and so on. 

Additionally, you need to make use of 50+ research modules to upgrade armor, shield and weapons and you can also build new ships.

On the other side you have 12 types of aliens with different design and powerups and over 150 alien spaceships. Besides the powerups which are in the bottom, we also want to mention that you can move the POV at the bottom by swipping.

While the gameplay and graphics are incredible executed, what stands out the most in Armada Commander is the super-exciting continuous space fleet management and the mesmerizing alien attacks which are varied and fun.

In the end, Armada Commander offers amazing entertainment and it is a worthy RTS space battle to try. It’s free.
