Android App of the Day - SelfieApp – Fake Selfie Game

Our today’s App of the Day is the free photography app called SelfieApp. Actually it is a more than just a photography app. It is a social app as well, one that will enable you to create and share fake selfies. Basically, the app will enable you to take selfies with different backgrounds and they will look like you are really at that particular location. Mostly the app contains HD backgrounds from popular places around the world like the Eiffel Tower or the Pyramids in Egypt.

Even though the app contains more than 1000 HD backgrounds, it will also enable you to add your own backgrounds. In order to create a fake selfie you need to do 3 simple steps. You need to select the place on the map, take selfie (the app will do everything for you like the cropping, replacing and merging) and share it online. On top of that there is geo-tagging that will enable you to make the selfie much more interesting and there is a link to Wikipedia for every place that will keep you informed if there are questions.
