iOS App of the Day – Color Lens for iOS

Our today’s App of the Day is the great Photo & Video app called Color Lens. This app has simple, yet so lovely functionality. It can turn your camera into a real time color sampler tool. Color Lens does that with its simple feature. Using your camera it finds the most dominant colors and then it updates them using the camera preview. Everything is shown on your iPad’s or iPhone’s camera and you control the sampling by simply tapping the preview circle. 

Not only that the app will show the most dominant color, but it will also give you the closest named color. The cool thing is that if you do long tap, the app will open the desired color in a full screen preview. If you like it you can save it as an image. Color Lens enables the color codes to be viewed in RGB, Hex and HSB formats. So, with ease, you can use any color in your next design.
