iOS App of the Week - *RUNiN

*RUNiN is a Health & Fitness iOS App that has quickly
taken over our office because we are great fans of running and fitness in
general. The second reason why we loved *RUNiN is because it is unique! The app
simulates the experience of running around the world with various real footage or video from
different cities and you can be just running on the treadmill in your local
gym. So, you can basically run in your favorite city from the treadmill. So far
the app works for Mexico City only.
Facebook Contest
In order to get more and more cities in the app on the next
update, the developers have ongoing Facebook contest in which anyone can
participate in. All you have to do is use the app and do a video testimonial from you from your
home town while running. The award is trip to Mexico City and $1000. Isn’t that
cool, all you have to do is use an app that is great anyway!
Additional features
*RUNiN is an excellent training app as well. Not only that
it has well developed community, there are various training programs that you
can implement depending on your fitness level. So, you will find amazing train
to race training programs, besides the main feature “Run Around the World”.
