iOS Game of the Week - Get Your Answers in a Fun Way with Tax Fight

A deductible expense
is one you can subtract from your taxable gross income. Deductible expenses
reduce your tax liability. A non-deductible expense, on the other hand, does
not impact your tax bill. Certain expenses are always deductible, while others
can never be deducted. Another category of expenses, however, are deductible
only under specific circumstances.
Yes, yes, we’ve all heard about this and it
is a must-know for anyone. But that doesn’t mean that it’s fun. It means that
it isn’t our favorite thing to deal with. Especially when there is an exquisite artwork and design involved!
We found a way to make
learning about taxes more entertaining, and guess what? It is an app, of
course, an incredible iOS app, or a so-called game, brought to us by Accounting
Play (to be more precise, by John Gillingham). The app’s name is Tax Fight and
it is compatible with both iPhones and iPads which are created with iOS 8.0. It
is user friendly, fun, and best of all, educational!
Tax Fight features 10
different levels. The levels are full of all kinds of tax topics that can help
you learn what exactly deductable and non-deductable tax is. All you have to do
is read the statements given in the box on your screen and choose deductable or
non-deductable. Then, as you advance further in the levels, you will have to
answer questions in a true or false format. Also, the topics change as you
advance. For instance, you will start with individual tax deductions and go on
to business tax deductions.
Full of satiric and
hilarious characters, with tons of useful things to learn about and completely
free of charge, Tax Fight is available for anyone on the App Store. Get it
today and don’t forget to show it to your friends and family so they can learn
a thing or two.
