One of the first really good uses for Android devices was delivering the weather. At the time, it was so cool to just check your phone and avoid the hassle of looking it up on a computer or waiting for the local weather report on TV. Weather apps have grown a lot since the good old days and most of them now also include weather widgets for quick reference.
