Android App of the Week – Hello Pal: Talk to the World

Monday, May 18, 2015

Hello Pal: Talk to the World is relatively new Android app that impressed us with its idea, functionality and the goal it has to achieve. It is a social networking app that is concentrated to learning languages. With Hello Pal you can connect with people from different countries and cultures and communicate about what certain words or phrases mean in their language.

All you need to do is to create a profile and then ask any user that talks in the foreign language you are interested, about certain meaning of a sentences, word or phrase. Who can tell you the true meaning of words if not the native speakers?

We have used this app in our offices for the last 5 days and we must say that we are impressed. I personally am starting to learn Mandarin and I have contacted several users that returned politely to several questions I asked. But, the user base is large, and it is getting larger each day, so you can ask users from different cultures and countries with easy.

On top of that Hello Pal features its own language phrasebook, translation engine and other tools that can help you in the translation. This app is perfect for people that want to explore and learn foreign languages. Get it for free on Google Play.
